Admission Requirements - Freshmen:
1. Original copy of Form 138 (Report Card) or Form 137 (Permanent Record) with transfer eligibility duly signed by school official
2. Personal presence of the enrollee, parent/guardian
3. Certificate of proof of scholastic standing, if recipient of academic honors
4. Student/s original and true copy of birth certificate
5. Certification of good moral character
6. Partial or Full payment of all required fees

Admission Requirements - Foreign Students:
1. Original copy of school credentials
2. Original and true copy of passport
3. Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)

A. Basic Requirements
An applicant must:
1. Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree from recognized local or foreign educational institutions;
2. Be of good moral character as recommended by three (3) references.
Note:
A. An education degree holder or any qualified applicant who has no, or limited, previous studies in the area for which he intends to pursue, will be required to take subjects/courses to make up for this deficiency; the number and subjects/courses to be taken shall be determined by the program adviser and approved by the Dean. Such subject (s)/courses will not be credited towards a master’s degree.
B. A non-education degree holder, is required to take some graduate education subject (s)/courses will not be credited towards master’s degree. The students will be allowed to extend for another year beyond the provisions of Maximum Residency Rule (MRR).
Waiver
A waiver of the above policy (Note b above) may be requested in writing, if the student has been in active service (in teaching and /or in other related activities in recognized institutions) for at least five years.
The request of waiver must be:
A. Accompanied by an official certification from the school (s) where the student has rendered or is rendering his/her professional services.
B. Addressed to the Dean of Graduate School who in turn endorses it to the appropriate CHED officials.
B. Requirements for Submission
Before the application for Admission is processed the following documents must be submitted to the Graduate School:
1. Application form for Admission duly accomplished.
2. A formal letter of application for admission stating among others the applicant’s objectives in pursuing a graduate degree in specific filed (s) of interest;
3. Official transcript of academic record of undergraduate work (and graduate work, if any) – one (1) original and one (1) photocopy.
For evaluation purposes, photocopies of records may be accepted provided they are properly authenticated.
4. Two (2) letters of recommendation from former professors and/or employers with their evaluation of the applicants potential for graduate work;
5. Two (2) copies of duly accomplished Application Form for Admission including two (2) copies of 2” x 2” photograph and two (2) copies of 1” x 1” photograph.
6. Photocopy of marriage contract for female
Credentials filed in support of the application become the property of the Roosevelt College Foundation, Graduate School of Education, and will not be returned to the applicant.
