Admission Requirements - Foreign Students:
For foreign students, he/she must atleast be 18 years at the time of enrolment, has graduated from high school or secondary school or it's equivalent; has sufficient means for his/her education and support; with the required immigration documents upon entry to the Philippines, and has to submit the following requirements:
1. Five (5) copies of the Student's Personal History Statement (PHS) duly signed by him, both in English and in his national alphabet accompanied by his personal seal if any, containing among others his left and right thumbprints and a 2" x 2" photograph on plain white background taken not more than six months prior to submission.
2. Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student-applicant's country of origin or legal residence;
3. A notarized Affidavit of Support including bank statements or notarized grant for institutional scholars, to cover expenses for the student's accomodation and subsistence as well as school dues and other incidental expenses;
4. Photocopy of the student's passport showing date and place of birth and Birth Certificate or it's equivalent duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post;
5. Police Clearance issued by the national police authorities in the student's country of origin or legal residence, duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post having consular jurisdiction over the place; and
6. Medical Health Certificate issued by an authorized physician including but not limited to standard-size chest x-ray, HIV and Hepatitis B clearance. The Consular Office shall not assume the task of determining the student's scholastic fitness for the program applied for.
7. Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) and Certificate of Residence for Temporary Student (CRTS) from the Student Desk of the Bureau of Immigration, Intramuros, Manila.
1. Accomplished Application Form;
2. Certified Photocopy of Official Transcript of Record and Diploma;
3. Honorable Dismissal/Transfer Credentials;
4. 2 pcs. Passport-size photos with name tag;
5. Application letter describing one's motivation for pursuing graduate study and his/her view of self-directed learning as a method of instruction, and a description of one's research interest;
6. Letter recommendation from former professors, supervisors or employers. This must be sent to the Graduate School by separate mail or handcarried by the applicant or representative in a sealed envelope;
7. Interview with the Dean, IGS (schedule will be one (1) day after completing all requirements; and
8. A non-refundable application fee of Php 500.00.
This school is included under the "Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education" law that passed in 2017.
The law covers students enrolled in State and Local universities/colleges in Bachelors and Certificate programs.
Under the Law students in accredited State and Local universities/colleges will not pay any tuition fees or misc fee.
The Law covers only first time students (students who don't already have a college degree).
However, the full implementation of this law is not clear yet.
