◈ Studied Bachelor of Elementary Education
◈ At Philippine Normal University
◈ Graduated 2004

list bulletAbout Philippine Normal University: The professors: just like movies, there are good ones, and bad ones, too. I just pick out their good qualities. They were professors who really inspired me to continue with my studying because they really do have passion to teach.

The atmosphere: PNU taught me that "Simplicity is the best policy". Since most of the students came from poor families, you don't expect "pabonggahan" in any aspect.

The facilities: it was during my time (2004), when Dr. Nilo Rosas became the President of the campus. I saw major developments like making the rooms airconditioned. But of course, the tuition fee also increased, from P350/sem, it became P1000+.

list bulletMy current job: I am currently teaching in a public elementary school in Las Pinas where I also graduated way back 1996.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: PNUans won't find it hard looking for a job since Philippine Normal University is dubbed as "Center for Excellence". I had my first job after graduation as an English teacher in a private school.

◈ Studied BSEd in English
◈ At Philippine Normal University
◈ Graduated 2013

list bulletAbout Philippine Normal University: Most of the professors are professional. You would really admire them. They really do have the passion for teaching.
The atmosphere had been very light for me, at least, since the students are really friendly to the point that you get to have a conversation with them whenever you see a fellow PNUan somewhere.
The facilities, however, wasn't that good. I could understand that the university cannot handle too much expenses since it was not a private school but the facilities were not that poor. It was average.

list bulletMy current job: Teacher

◈ Studied BS in Mathematics
◈ At Philippine Normal University
◈ Graduated 2001

list bulletAbout Philippine Normal University: The school is really for the future teachers and that is the reason why I pursue to enroll there. As far as I recall all our professors are M.A grads or PhD graduate. I have also a professor in our major subject who is a Summa Cum Laude of PNU that means our school tries to absorb their own graduates with honors.
The facilities were also great way back 1997 – 2001 as I was studying there and I’m sure it is better now than we had before.

list bulletMy current job: I'm a Mathematics teacher now in a public high school in the Division of Quezon City.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: I decided to apply in SY 2002 - 2003 in our church private school where I was teaching elementary Math and Science. But June 2003 I was permanently in as Teacher I in our school and became a Teacher II last June 2012.

◈ Studied BSEd in English
◈ At Philippine Normal University
◈ Graduated 2014

list bulletWhy did I choose this school: Because Philippine Normal University is the National Center for Teacher Education.

list bulletAbout Philippine Normal University: Most classrooms are air-conditioned and are very conducive to learning. However, there are some classrooms which are dilapidated caused by the previous typhoons. The library, just like the rest of the university (specifically the main building) is well-preserved as well. But, the library is lacking some books which can be very useful for an English major like me who usually writes occasional papers, term papers, and theses.

list bulletMy current job: I don't have a job yet.
I am reviewing for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Teachers.

◈ Studied BS in Information Technology Education
◈ At Philippine Normal University
◈ Graduated 2012

list bulletWhy did I choose this school: PNU is a well-known school in the field of Education. By the law, it is now the National Center for Teacher Education. So if a person really wants to be a teacher, PNU is your number 1 choice.

list bulletAbout Philippine Normal University: PNU Manila Campus is big and has open grounds. Though the buildings are quite old, because the university's birthday was 1901, most of the rooms are already air-conditioned even the four-storey library. Professors and instructors are competitive and highly dynamic which is really needed to create new future leaders.
One things to be proud about PNU is the discipline. Students are trained to be well-grooming, be responsible and be humble.

The entrance exam in PNU is quite hard. But this only shows that the students here are really selected and one of the best.
In PNU, attendance and punctuality is a must. No future teacher shall be a latecomer because it shows irresponsibility and un-professionalism.

list bulletMy current job: I am now a professional teacher, confident and competent and I owe it all to my almamater, PNU.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: I was already hired before I graduated college. We had a job fair inside the school a month before the graduation day. I did not even have to enroll to a review center but I passed the licensure exam in the same year.
