list bulletWhy did I choose this school:
When I was Grade 1, I heard about the State College's good reputation especially when we talk about their Engineering Department.

It has been my dream school ever since I was in elementary. I was happy when I was given a chance by my parents to study Mathematics in advance for a summer class when I was in Grade 6 summer vacation.

I took the entrance exam for high school students after my elementary graduation yet failed to pass their scholastic standard.

list bulletAbout USTP:
The school was quite old but no one minds it since most of the students are from the low-income family. It was full of trees and old buildings/structures when I came but now (due to her amazing graduate products) the school is able to build new classy buildings funded by the government.

The professors/instructors were okay. Some are old while others are new. One thing I like about MUST is that we give respect to the professor as a person not just someone we want to walk away from because of it's hard topics. At MUST, we value professors, staffs and even our buildings. We don't give much complaints since what we're after for is the knowledge they can handed to us and the kind of quality with humility we're wanting ever since.

The school also underwent through poverty (I think) but is now well provided with the government. I personally think it's also because of the accreditation held wherein the school has the chance to showcase it's researches a midst the not-so-well-of facilities before.

The last time I visited my Alma Mater, equipment are prepared, library is given importance, facilities are now up to the next level.

My father only earns just enough for the food. I had to work so I can support my studies. My friend said that I should apply to this school since it has low tuition fee.

list bulletAbout USTP:
The school was great, it was enormous. The facilities were really well maintained, and very presentable, and most rooms has air-conditioning. The equipments were top of the class from food processing lab, Biology lab and Computer lab all was the best. Most of professors were really smart and kind. I thank god that I studied in this prestigious university.

list bulletAbout USTP:
The professors were qualified, but most were part-timers. We had most of our important classes on weekends due to them being busy during weekdays.

Overall good atmosphere. Although engineering and architecture students had the tendency to discriminate other programs, the school population had that "one big happy family" kind of vibe. People were rarely antagonistic towards each other, and if that were the case, the reason would most likely be unrelated to academics.

The school campus is very famous for turning into a wetland if the conditions are perfect. Classes were suspended if the damage caused by flooding was severe. Though this may be the case, the school has made major improvements before and after I graduated. My undergrad thesis was related to the frequent flooding, but sampling was a bit difficult because the new drainage system was surprisingly effective to a certain degree. Also, new buildings are being built and new facilities are constantly being developed.

I came from a mid class family in the province of Bukidnon. University tuition fees seemed so expensive, and I don't want my parents to sacrifice a lot to finance my schooling.

list bulletAbout USTP:
The atmosphere was conducive to learning. There’s not much destruction, not much noises, since the population is not crowded.

The professors were carefully selected as they were well-versed in their chosen subject. Plus, they were very friendly.

All I can say about my school is, thank you that I graduated in a prestigious and well-known school. The professors are sometime strict and we understand that, because it is for our own good. The atmosphere is quite good, good enough to see the beauty of the school and the beauty of every student. The facilities is fair enough to call a facility, so much more to repair with.
