Course description:
MBM students learn to develop their knowledge, skills and methodologies for todays music industry. The program, which has been developed by industry professionals, covers performance, sound engineering and production, events management, marketing and promotions, publishing and licensing, artistic and repertoire management, as well as the legal, financial and ethical challenges that face contemporary music executives. Students are also able to apply their knowledge and technical skills in our recording studio for in-class projects and professional productions.
The program prepares students for various professional music business careers including Performance; Sound Engineering and Production; Entertainment Law; Music Business Accounting; Business Management; Licensing; Music Publishing; Concert Promotions; and Booking Agent.
