list bulletAbout MCU: Manila Central University is a good school and I definitely recommend it. My professors were friendly and they can be trusted that they will guide you as you go along your college years. They were supportive but of course a little strict sometimes just to teach us the discipline as well as the mission and vision of our school and of our course. They were also passionate and always open for students' questions.

For the atmosphere, you will not feel aloof because many students and professors were social as well as the foreign students. They know how to talk with people politely. I remember one Iranian student who borrowed my notes and he really did gave it back to me on time. You can't easily trust someone you didn't know too much but that thing proves to me that some of them even they're not Filipinos, they know they're values.
For other staffs, of course not all were good, but then trying to have a long patience will help.

About the facilities, our building is kinda old but maybe it is for the memories of the late owner. But MCU have some new buildings now and those were very good. Although in some classrooms, the aircon is broken and the restrooms at times we're running out of water but then they manage to fix it. And I think after a year of my graduation they have lots of plans of rearrangement or reconstructions.

list bulletMy current job: I'm still reviewing for my board exam this coming March 2013, but for almost 3 months I have training experiences in a clinic near my location.

list bulletAbout MCU: Manila Central University is a good one although it is not a famous university. My professors were really good in their field and each of them were friendly and easy to talk with when you got a problem with their subject (before you proceed to the next topic, usually most of them make short quizzes. challenging because you were pushed to study to prepare, but it helps a lot).

The atmosphere of the school is quite relaxing because of the trees. The surroundings is kept clean as well as the plants. The gymn, the pool, each area were good but as a part of the university, everyone should give their own effort to keep to school neat.

The facilities as well were in good conditions. although sometimes there were problems but there are people who take care of it.
Th canteens an the school buildings were accomodating but at times some schedules of the rooms were not fixed because of other professors who accidentally use the room but all in all I stand for my alma matter..=D

list bulletMy current job: I have no current job because I am just going to take my licensure exam. But I have already worked in a primary clinic for almost 6 months. I look for a job in order to earn while I am waiting for the board exam. I was accepted to be trained by my good boss.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: After graduation I review first to take the board exam of September 2012 but because of my nervousness, I decided to take it this March 2013.

list bulletAbout MCU: The place is student-friendly. There are areas where you can study quietly without being disturbed by unwanted noises. The professors do their job well. They make sure students learn what they need to learn. They are approachable. The facilities are good as well though in some other school they are more advanced.

list bulletWhy did I choose this school: Location is near bulacan

list bulletAbout MCU: The ambiance was ok. Spanish type buildings that were old and "antique" already. Professors were ok, some were good, some were not. The facilities needs a lot of improvement though, we needed to share 1 apparatus/computer to 5 or more other students.

list bulletMy current job: Bank teller and new accounts clerk

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: Short while. My first job was in a BPO.

list bulletAbout MCU: Professors are approachable. You can never be too shy to ask when you don't understand a part of a discussion. One thing I like about a professor in my university is once he can't answer a question, he will research on it and get back to you the next day. Very friendly and professional.

The atmosphere is good. Our university is old so you can expect trees, not so much buildings. But MCU is starting to renovate. When I graduated, the new library has been opened and I could gladly compare it to other university libraries. It has been modernized and a lot bigger than the old one. Plus, I heard that they are planning to have another big project, our old gym has been demolished. So we can watch out for that. Facilities are accessible, comfort rooms are maintained clean, classrooms have decent blackboards and chairs.

list bulletMy current job: Office Secretary

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: It took me 5 months, April to September, if it's after graduation. But I studied and took the board exam on June, so technically, I've only been vacant for 3 months.

◈ Studied BS in Nursing
◈ At MCU
◈ Graduated 2011

list bulletWhy did I choose this school: It is very near from where I live with approximately 30 minutes travel time. Aside from that, I have a cousin who was also studying nursing at that time. I am not really used to being on my own, so I know seeing a familiar face will help me adapt quickly. MCU is also a good school that offers high quality education.

list bulletAbout MCU: The ambiance is really nice and peaceful because the whole compound is surrounded by trees. The professors I had were also really nice and they are really dedicated to teaching their students. Sad to say it is not an air conditioned school so it is really hard to concentrate especially during the summer time. I rarely go to the library but I still noticed the lack of tables and chairs. And I also think that they should add more places for students to hang out.

list bulletMy current job: Right now, I don't have any because I am busy preparing for my student visa application for Australia.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: I graduated BSN in 2011 and I also took and pass the Nursing Licensure Examination the same year. After that, I did not seek a job immediately. I stayed at home first because I wanted to take a break from all the stress from studying for board exams. And then after that, I realized that it was really hard to secure a nursing job. You need to have hospital experience. So I spent my time doing trainings and volunteer work. It was only last 2013 when I was offered a job, which I also turned down in the end.

list bulletWhy did I choose this school: Because this school has great facilities, professors and it is very accessible to my place.

list bulletAbout MCU: The atmosphere was nice, you can see a lot of trees which is a nice place to relax if you are stress during class. The professors were nice, you can even asked them to hangout once in a while. And the facilities were great, they have gym, pool, a large cafeteria, library, and a place to hangout during breaks.

list bulletMy current job: I'm currently applying for a nurse position. But before I was a call center agent, we answer calls and help people until they are satisfied with our service.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: About 6 months.

list bulletAbout MCU: The university’s facilities are not up to speed. But they have the best instructors and professors, to compensate for the loss in that area. As for me, this is enough. Education is what matters most.

list bulletMy current job: I am still reviewing for the upcoming Nursing Licensure Exam.
