Scholarships at LSPU Siniloan:

I. INTERNAL SCHOLARSHIP

1. HONORIFIC SCHOLARSHIP

Any undergraduate student who obtains at the end of the semester a weighted average of 1.25 to 1.45 is given the honorific scholarship. University Scholars are listed in the Campus Director's/Chancellor's list of scholars.

2. COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

Any undergraduate student not being classed as university scholar who obtains at the end of the semester a weighted average of 1.50 to 1.75 is given the honorific scholarship. College scholars are listed in the Dean's list of scholars.

3. FACULTY/ PERSONNEL DEPENDENCE

All the children/dependents of all Regular Faculty members of LSPU enjoy free tuition for the duration of the undergraduate study on full load basis.

4. VARSITY SCHOLARS

LSPU provides incentives to deserving athletes further produce dedicated athletes and medal producing performers. Scholarships are divided into:

A. Full Scholarship/Training Allowance

• SSCUAA or STRAA medalists whether gold, silver and bronze
• Grade average of 2.5 for the semester immediately proceeding.
• Posses good moral character.

B. Half Scholarship/Training Allowance

• Point Contributors in SCUAA and STRAA
• SCUAA and STRAA Finalists
• Average grade of 3 and maximum grade of 2.75

5. LSPU BAND MEMBER

In recognition of the skillful ability of the students to play musical instruments, interpret notes, and rhythms and ultimately play beautiful music together in a band, a reward system by way of scholarship to bonafide students who qualify as members of the LSPU Band is being recommended. The University President upon the recommendation of the Scholarship Committee of the Office to the Student Affairs approves the application for scholarship.

Any student who qualifies in this scholarship is entitled to free tuition fee as authorized by the state institution. Likewise, a student who qualifies in this scholarship must attend all band trainings and/or practice.

II. EXTERNAL SCHOLARSHIP

1.BARANGAY SCHOLARS

Scholarship granted (Tuition Fee) to all Barangay Officals's legitimate dependents and Sanguniang Kabataan (SK) Officers and members themselves

2. CBK POWER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

Located at CBK Complex, Kalayaan, Laguna scholars are from families who earn less than P60,000. Scholars are screened and given Free Scholarships with additional assistance for Review classes, Thesis Fee, Student Tracking fees and the like. Usually caters to their employees dependents and recipients residing in the vicinity of CBK.

3. CIBAC SCHOLARS

Sponsored by Congressman of Citizens Battle Against Corruption (CIBAC) to help and provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged but deserving youths individuals who wish to grants educational opportunities.

4. DILG-PNP (PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE)

Scholarship grant to all dependents of members of Philippine National Police

5. DOST - DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Scholarship awards to all qualified science and engineering students in specified courses as approved by DOST.

6. CONGRESSMAN EDGAR SAN LUIS SCHOLARS

Sponsored by Cong. Edgar S. San Luis of 4th District of Laguna. Scholars are categorized into Full Scholars, half Scholars, TODA Scholars, (Trycicle Operations Drivers Association), Brgy. Captain Scholars, Special Accomodations etc.

7. MUNICIPAL MAYORS SCHOLARS

The municipal mayor of the LSPU Service areas also gives scholarship to deserving constituents of their town. The local government unit has formulated the guidelines and scheme of awarding scholars to deserving students.

8. OWWA - OVERSEAS WELFARE WORKERS SCHOLARS

Scholarship grant to OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) dependents designed to pursue post-secondary education.

9. SAFE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The program called the SAFE scholarship was conceived by CHED provide assistance to the needy buy deserving college students in all higher education institutions nationwide. The program also provides

10. PNP SCHOLARS

There is an existing agreement between the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Commission on Higher Education which provides study grants to active PNP Personnel and their qualified dependents.

11. PUWERSA NG BAYANING ATLETA (PBA) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

(a) He/She must be a natural Born Filipino;
(b) Athletes of good moral character and in good health;
(c) A poor, talented and deserving student who is a dependent of a family whose head is earning minimum wage or below.

The applicants shall be screen based on compliance with the above-mentioned requirements by a duly authorized staff of the Office of Rep. Mark Aeron H. Sambar. If necessary, an interview of the applicants shall be conducted.
