Scholarships at Jose Rizal University:

1. La Pluma Scholarship

La Pluma is the premiere scholarship program of José Rizal University offered only to the best students in the country. All incoming freshmen in the JRU High School and College Divisions who have been certified as belonging to the Top 10 in academic ranking by their Elementary and High School Principal from any school are automatically qualified as LA PLUMA SCHOLARS for their initial two (2) school years in JRU for as long as they enroll in JRU in the school year immediately following their year of graduation from Elementary School or High School.

2. Academic Scholarship

All incoming freshmen in the JRU High School and College Divisions from any school may also apply for the JRU Academic Scholarships by taking the JRU Scholarship Qualifying Examination. Interested students must apply immediately after

Graduating from elementary school or high school to be eligible. The following are the JRU Academic Scholarship benefits:

• 20% discount on all Miscellaneous Fees

3. JRU Alumni Association Scholarship

José Rizal University Alumni Association (JRUAA) maintains and funds a number of scholarships every year for students who wish to pursue and obtain a bachelor’s degree at José Rizal University.
