Scholarships at Far Eastern University
There will be four major scholarship classifications. These are the following:
A. Merit Scholarships Merit scholarships are scholarships given on the basis of academic achievement. The main objective of the new policies for Merit scholarships is to attract the best candidates from among the applicants through better benefits over a longer period of time. It also aims to reward the best among students currently enrolled in the university.

B. Needs-Based Scholarships Needs-based scholarships are intended to provide assistance to financially challenged students who do not have the means to finance their college education.

C. Service Scholarships These scholarships are awarded to students with special athletic and artistic talents who represent the university in competitions and other worthwhile performances.

D. Special Needs Scholarships (Special Groups) • FEU Manila and FEU Makati only
Scholarship for Special Groups: Criteria for Awarding: To be determined by the Admissions and Financial Assistance Office in coordination with the OSD; given only to either: (1) those with orthopedic disabilities, or (2) from indigenous groups of the Cordillera Administrative region or among the Mangyans in Mindoro. Features: Full tuition and miscellaneous subsidy but must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 (C+), effective SY 2014-15.
PD 577 and Union, Non-union, and Faculty Educational Benefits are maintained. Benefit is conditional on compliance with admission requirements and other university rules.
Externally-funded scholarships will not be included in the budget tally for FEU scholarships. Externally-funded scholarships will be monitored and administered by the office of Admissions and Financial Assistance to ensure non-duplication of scholarship awards.
