list bulletWhy did I choose this school:
CIT was the best college for engineering in the entire Visayas; there were many graduates of this college who topped the Board Exams for the Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. This was a sufficient reason for me to convince my father to support my studies in this school. Luckily he conceded.

list bulletAbout CIT Cebu City:
CIT had a big campus with many buildings and facilities. The area was not congested; students were able to study with the conducive and friendly environment. The engineering students usually discuss a lot after classes and there was a social hall and canteen for this purpose. The teachers were all topnotch engineers, architects, surveyors, and even lawyers. There was a sense of glamour and pride in being in this college. I spend a lot of good times in and out of the campus in college but I would never forget the various experiences and realizations I had while I was in this school. It helped mold me to be more persevering in my aspirations and goals as a person.

list bulletMy current job:
My job is a Safety Officer of a British-owned company based in Qatar that was contracted to help build the gas and oil refineries by supplying the concrete slabs and towers of the refineries. My job was to make sure that that the concrete parts that we supplied were always of top quality and that all of our men followed the safety tips and precautions during the production and deliveries of these items.

list bulletAbout CIT Cebu City:
Since my school was quite far from my house, I consider it immediately as my second home literally. I did not want to be late from my classes so I ate all my meals in there. Because I could not go home if I have 3- hour break, then I took my naps in there too. Good thing my school has a big, cold library, which was my sanctuary throughout those years.

list bulletMy current job:
Apparently, I have two jobs. First is being a designer for different residential and commercial buildings. My second job is an ESL Teacher, where I need to teach Korean and Japanese students English.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job after graduation:
Two months before my graduation, I was already on the hunt for a job. So when I was interviewed, I told the manager that I could start working for them the moment I finished my course. Thankfully, I never experienced the long wait of being employed.

◈ Studied BS in Chemical Engineering
◈ At CIT Cebu City
◈ Graduated 2014

list bulletWhy did I choose this school:
Primary reason is that the school is known for producing topnotchers in the field of Engineering. I wanted to be a part of the lineup who'd be called a "Teknoy Topnotcher". Another reason why I chose this school is because of the convenience as far as distance from my home. I'm just one ride away from it's location.

list bulletAbout CIT Cebu City:
Picturing the whole school, I should say that the students are diversified. Some students are not so serious about their studies and opt on playing games outside the campus, others are just normal students who perform on a case-to-case basis depending on factors they qualify for themselves, while a not-so-large portion of the population perform very well and are very competitive like me.

list bulletMy current job:
I am a Product Development Engineer in a well-known company. I do research on possible ways of enhancing our products as well as provide inputs on how to make our process more efficient.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job after graduation:
It took me around 2 months to find my first job, which also provided me with good compensation.

◈ Studied BS in Computer Science
◈ At CIT Cebu City
◈ Graduated 2004

list bulletAbout CIT Cebu City:
My professors were always ready in the class which made me think they've read all book sources just to give us all informations we need academically. I enrolled in CIT-U in 2000 and at that time, I can still see some trees in the campus. The atmosphere was really good and you still can feel nature inspite of having tall buildings around. During my university days, CIT-U facilities were not as highly technological as of today. The library looked like an old book warehouse that it's hard for you to stay for 30 minutes because it was just ventilated with a humungous electric fan. It was humid inside. But now, it is airconditioned. They made a whole building for library itself. And it's a hotspot. You can connect to the internet using your wifi-ready gadget. Good job!

list bulletMy current job:
I am a part of Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) program. I teach Computing subject to students from a non English speaking country who want to study in the university abroad. It is like a preparation of their university life abroad.
