list bulletAbout Brokenshire College: Getting enrolled in a known good nursing school is an opportunity everyone can't enjoy. I have been enrolled in a prestigious college of Nursing and was able to enjoy my college years. This school is located meters away from the heart of the city, with it's nature-like atmosphere, students got the chance to study in a place where malls are way far to go.
Indeed, they've got a lot of good professors but sad to say, some professors are more terror than a strict librarian but all is well when you know you can face them upfront with your good attitude and fully loaded brain.
The facilities are not perfect. The auditorium is like a warehouse. Amphitheater is too far, you need to go down with hundreds of stairs which would make you eat your heart out.

list bulletMy current job: I am currently working at home, a virtual assistant.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: It took me months before I landed on my first job as a office secretary of a real estate office.

list bulletAbout Brokenshire College: When I was still studying there, they had so many miscellaneous fees and other fees charged to us and it was concussive for both my parents. But regarding the school’s ambience it is really great for studying since it is well maintained, quiet and away from the city pollution.

list bulletMy current job: I currently work with Smart Communications as Marketing assistant. I assist on everything our Marketing manager needs to do, mostly reports on sales and product promotions. My course clearly do not meet the requirements of my current job but I could say that my past experiences working with different call centers helped me a lot to cope with this kind of work.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: I was applying for a position as nurse to clinics and hospitals, I waited and not even one called. It was really a hard time for me, there were too many nurses graduated that time that is why there were no vacancies. After a year my friend recommended me in a call center. After interviewing they decided to hire me as a call center agent.

list bulletWhy did I choose this school: I chose Brokenshire because of it's popularity in medical courses. It also gives scholarship and financial aid for outstanding and self-supporting students. In addition Brokenshire has their very own Hospital.

list bulletAbout Brokenshire College: As a whole Brokenshire was a great school study at, it's peaceful and quiet ambience helps me a lot when studying and reviewing. Most of the classrooms weren’t air-conditioned but it was still okay since the establishment was full of trees, and green plants. In addition it wasn’t hot there even at 1pm in the afternoon since the school is located at the near top of the hill.

Professors were very approachable and amiable. They were very smart with their respective subjects. Especially our clinical instructors, they were very professional in attitude and very strict in teaching.

list bulletMy current job: Sadly saying I didn’t have the chance to pursue as a Nurse. Instead I am a call center agent at Concentrix, a popular and prestigious global communications company here in Davao City.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: It took me really long, trying my luck to earn a job at hospitals and medical clinics it cost me a year to realize that I was hopeless. I had to take another job already so that I could start helping my family with their financial problems. I had to take the offer of my friend to work as a call center agent. I then started my first job a year after my graduation.

She insisted that I should study at Brokenshire college because having a relative working in Brokenshire can earn you discount in tuition fee. It also has good scores for NLEX passers, that made us even more decided to choose Brokenshire.

list bulletAbout Brokenshire College: Only few rooms have air-conditioning mostly the laboratories. But what I loved about the school was the ambience, it was very green and very quite. The setup of quite place, green grass, orchids, calachuchi tress and etc. Motivates you to study more.
And the Instructors were very professional, they really assist us when we have questions and difficulties on the subject.

◈ Studied BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management
◈ At Brokenshire College
◈ Graduated 2013

list bulletWhy did I choose this school: This is one of the oldest and well-known nursing colleges in Davao City. Its education is not expensive while the quality of education is considered one of the best in the entire Mindanao area. The course of HRM is a new addition the courses being offered by this school. Being new I felt that the faculty and the administration would make it a worthwhile course and source of good income for it's graduates. I chose this school because of it's impressive background.

list bulletAbout Brokenshire College: Brokenshire College is an evangelical school owned by the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP). Originally it was run by the pioneer American teachers and nurses who belonged to this congregation hence it was known to be of the highest standard in the medical field of nursing and hospital care. Now, it is totally managed by the Filipinos. Nevertheless, it's high standards of education has not been diminished. It is still an excellent school by Filipino standards.

list bulletAbout Brokenshire College: Our clinical instructor was bit hard when it comes to homework she usually gave us a short time frame but it helps though. When you involved in aged care industry you wont expect that everything will be nice and rossy everyday is a challenge. You need to remember your responsibility with every resident your handling but at the end of the day you feel good knowing you help someone and make them happy :)

list bulletMy current job: Assistant in Nursing

◈ Studied BS in Nursing
◈ At Brokenshire College
◈ Graduated 2006

list bulletWhy did I choose this school: I usually prefer an evangelical culture when it comes to choosing my school, much more a university where a student spends a big part of his formation contributing to the many changes in his life. So this school, as I came to know it, touches on that part of education so I didn’t have any problems with that. Another reason is that the teachers are known to be good in educating their students and helping them become more driven towards their future paths in life so I was looking forward to their teaching skills. In general, the school buildings and facilities are good and easy to access.

list bulletAbout Brokenshire College: I can say that the school ambiance was very friendly whilst it was also effectively conducive for studying. The area surrounding the school is big and spacious where good and stable buildings are situated.

The Professors were highly qualified.

With respect to the school’s facilities- most of the classrooms were air-conditioned including the library, the clinic, and also the faculty rooms. That’s why going to school is not that bad because you are not deprived of comfort.

list bulletMy current job: As of now I am into Sales and marketing.
I know this is a very different job far from nursing but somehow the "change of favorable tides" brought me to this job.

list bulletHow long did it take to find a job: It took me 10 months.
