R. D.
Studied Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Electronics
at Carlos A. Hilado Memorial State College , Talisay City
Graduated: 1998

About my college education:
During my time, It was so strict that I need to have extra time to study more, especially in my field. At first, it was more on calculations and formula analysis and later, it was quite complicated for I need to research more on the semi conductor devices and memorize it.
In my med year of study, I find it fun and I enjoyed a lot making actual projects and doing experiment with my own available materials. I realized then that it is up to us on weather we want to enjoy studying or we will think that it's boring.

My current job:
I am a small businessman, managing a small electronics and R.A.C shop.

Am I using what I learned in college:
I practically use what I learned from College. Because I am an aggressive person, I develop my leanings and improved it. In fact, many of my friends are still asking for my assistance when regards to electronics.

How long did it take to find a job after graduation:
Actually, I was hired/absorbed by the company where I took my on the job training 4 months before I officially graduate.

Do I recommend studying Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Electronics:
For those who really would like to repairs, make, and develop some equipment, or those with hubby in manipulating electronics equipment; I strongly recommend this course. It is really fun and fulfilling especially if you work it hard and succeed.
The salary level depends on your experience. The more experience you have, the higher the position you'll get. In addition, in this course, you can even start your own business.
