About my college education:
The university taught a lot for me, not only in academics but also spiritual and how to act as a lady with poise, so I can say my school taught me how to face reality and to the world of business.
If I were to ask how to be successful in my course, generally determination is the key, then the skills follows.
I can say that you should have interpersonal skill, critical thinking skill, decision making skill etc.
Interpersonal since I am a transfered student I need to socialize with my classmates. I will not survive my college having no friends or no one to talk to, interpersonal will be a factor to have a harmonious relationship in your working place soon.
Critical, since a student must think or come out with solutions for every problem.
Last is decision making, every student must have this skill since it would be a result in your actions.
My current job:
I am currently working for my business.
I am having a hard time to get a job due to conflicts. First, I am only daughter and grand daughter with a family business, therefore the companies would not allow me, because I am the only heiress of our business since my uncle and aunt has no family of their own. Second I have a diabetes, most companies are concern regarding with this matter.
On a brighter side, I got a job but has something to do with sales, stock market. They hired me in a blink of an eye because I also believe that hiring me will increase their sales, they believe I have many contacts with business people.
Am I using what I learned in college:
Yes, I am using it!
From my major subjects like marketing, strategic management. I am currently using it since I am building my own business. I will study the market, understand the market, survey, swot analysis.
Do I recommend studying Business Administration:
Yes, although I didn't have the chance to get employed, management course is versatile so they wont get have a hard time in applying.
